Dear God, For many of us, January is a new beginning. It’s a time we all take a look at our last year’s goals, check our priorities, and see the need for improvements. God firstly, I want to thank you for your providence. While this year especially, we’ve all been greatly impacted in different ways by this pandemic, you’ve shown over and over again how you are faithful to your people. You’ve provided in so many ways. You’ve helped us cross SO many red seas in our personal lives and given each of us growth opportunities.
As we start 2021 I pray that you would help me to see it as a clean slate. A year that has its own potential to be amazing, to be fulfilling, and everything I put my mind to with your guidance. I pray for wisdom as I set goals and aspire to be more for my family and the church. Help us, as people to see the need, even more, to be bold for you in our love. Give us each a burden to see others’ needs and not just our own. Humble me God to see others through your eyes.

Thank you Lord, that through your salvation we are given new life, the Holy Spirit, and a peace that surpasses all understanding. That despite whatever happens in this world you remain in control and are the ultimate life giver. Helps us be your hands and feet and that this January would be the beginning of great new things.
